The mixed chart shows the changes in the number ofpeople using take-out services and the annual growth rate in China between 2016and 2018. It is clear that the number of those who used thisservice climbed considerably from 256 million to 346 million. However, the growth ratesaw a downward trend, declining from 22.5% to 15%.
Personally,there are two key factors contributing to these changes. Firstly, it isuniversally acknowledged that the categories of take-out food are becoming moreand more. We can find almost every mouth-watering food from the take-out menu.As a result, those who are lacking in cookery prefer to order take-out foodrather than prepare dinners in the kitchen. Secondly, although the servicebrings about immense convenience to individuals, it is often reported that thekitchen environment of some restaurants is disgusting, which saps consumers’confidence about take-out food.
Inconclusion, I personally agree that ordering take-out services often is adouble-edged sword. On the one hand, this service allows white-collar workerswho work around the clock to save more time spent on work tasks. However, onthe other hand, it is conceivable that an increasing number of young peoplecannot gain pleasure from cooking.
